Walmart and Plants

Walmart is a great place to buy a wide variety of goods at a reasonable price. The only product that shouldn’t be purchased from Walmart is their plants. Reasons to not buy plants from Walmart is because they aren’t well kept and their isn’t a great variety plants to choose from.

When you go to the garden center at Walmart, you’ll be very unimpressed.  The first thing you’ll notice is that it is very messy. Nothing is really organized and a lot of the plants are not in the right place. It’s like walking into a children’s play room, complete chaos! Since nothing is in the right place, you would need someone to help you find what you are looking for but no one is to be found. The whole garden center is left for you to figure out where things are located. Also, the chances of finding a healthy plant is very rare. Most of the plants there are wilting and dying due to the lack of water. I have never seen an employee in the garden center, let alone someone to take care of the plants. It’s sad to see the lack of care the plants get there. If a customer doesn’t buy them right when they arrive, the plants are most likely going to die. Lastly, there is little to no variety when it comes to the plants there. They really only have house plants and succulents. If you came looking for a shrub to plant outside, good luck! Walmart is not the place to go if you want to buy plants.
